Approached from the outside this cedar exterior chalet on Northwood seems to be a modest ski home.  It looks like a family of four could shoulder in for a ski weekend.  But that impression changes quickly when you go through the front door.  The main living area is on the entry level floor.  The master suite  and two other bedrooms are on this level as well as two full baths.  There are also the kitchen, dining room, and living room on this level. Walk into the living room and you get the first sense of the real size of the place.  The living room is large and comfortable, and its tall bank of windows frame the view of the slopes at HoliMont and Holiday Valley.

The lower level offers another complete living area.  The stairway to the ground floor is right inside the front entrance.  This level could accommodate guests or family comfortably.  This level has a large family room, reading room, full bath and 2 more bedrooms.  But it also has a complete kitchen.  The two more bedrooms and one baths here bring the total to five and three respectively. Add to this a sauna, and a sitting room with its own entertainment center, and you have a house large enough for family and guests.

Since this is Ellicottville, everything is close by.  It’s a short drive to the slopes and a short walk to the downtown shops and restaurants.  In Summer, Holiday Valley Golf is near, as are other courses, and Allegheny State Park is just a bit further.  For more information about this chalet contact Dave Blanchard, GRI Assoc.
