Over Sixty Craftspersons and Artists will Display their Creations Next Weekend at Chautauqua Institution

   The 28th Annual Chautauqua Craft Alliance Festival will be held at Bestor Plaza on the grounds of Chautauqua Institution next weekend.   The August 8, 9 and 10th Festival features 67 craftspersons and artists, each displaying their own creations.  Friday hours are 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturday is 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday hours are from 12 noon to 5:30 p.m.

    Included are a cross section of contemporary craft techniques and styles along with traditional crafts. Both functional and decorative items will be available for purchase in ceramics, fiber, glass, leather, metal, wood and several fine art media.  The public has the opportunity to get acquainted personally with those who create the items displayed and sold.
